Do you want direct insight into your (historical) energy consumption, and you think it’s fine to not get live insights? With EnergyFlip Lite you connect the app directly to your Dutch smart meter with a code. You don’t need a measurement set – you just purchase the app. EnergyFlip Lite is therefore cheaper. While you see the same data as with EnergyFlip Live, only it becomes available after 1 or 2 days. So we have a finger on the pulse, but not immediately.

In the EnergyFlip app you can look back at the energy consumption of the past days (in hours), months and years. This gives you a very detailed overview of the peaks in electricity and gas consumption. And if you change your energy supplier, you still have insight into your consumption over the years because we are independent of the energy companies.

The app shows you exactly on which days you have used above average, and also the costs for this. Do you have solar panels? Then you can see how much has been fed back: both in kWh and in euros.

The EnergyFlip app also shows your standby consumption and regularly gives you smart tips to save energy. This way, you save an average of €350 per year on your energy bill.

How do you get my energy data?

Of course, not everyone can just access your meter data. Aurum, the maker of EnergyFlip, is a certified ODA (Independent Service Provider). This means that we meet all the conditions and that you may give us permission to collect the data from your energy meter for you. You can read exactly how we handle your data in our terms of use.

What is the difference with the app of my own energy supplier?

EnergyFlip (Lite) is independent. So you can use it at any supplier. Even if you go to a
another supplier, your data will remain available. So you won’t lose them if you go to one
other provider.

In addition, EnergyFlip Lite offers all the benefits that EnergyFlip also has.

What is the difference with the measurement set?

No live measurement and it is not possible to connect other sources (such as solar panels and/or a charging station).

I don’t have a smart meter. Can I also use EnergyFlip Lite?

No, you need an EnergyFlip measuring set with sensors for this.
